Kieran Culkin joined the cast of The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping as Caesar Flickerman, the eccentric host, played by Stanley Tucci in the series’ first four films. The new movie is for Nov. 20, 2026. President Snow will be played by Ralph Fiennes and Effie Trinket will be portrayed by Elle Fanning. (THR)


Sam Mendes is considering casting Aimee Lou Wood as Pattie Boyd and Mia McKenna-Bruce as Maureen Starkey in his Beatles biopics. The films will focus on individual band members and their stories, set for release in April 2028. The cast also includes Paul Mescal, Barry Keoghan, Joseph Quinn, and Harris Dickinson. (COS)


Zach Braff is set to reprise his role as Dr. John “J.D.” Dorian in the Scrubs update at ABC, which is currently in development. The reboot will reunite Braff with the show’s creator, Bill Lawrence. Other original cast members included Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke, and Judy Reyes —  but so far it’s unclear who else will return. (THR)


HBO’s Hard Knocks will showcase the Buffalo Bills during training camp, followed by an in-season look at the NFC East teams including the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, and Washington Commanders. Narrated by Liev Schreiber, the series premieres at 9 p.m. EDT on Aug. 5 on HBO Max. (UPI)


Lifetime is working on a docuseries about the Chrisley family in the aftermath of their parents’ prison sentences for bank fraud and tax evasion. The series follows the family’s journey, particularly Savannah’s efforts to seek a presidential pardon. The show explores whether the Chrisley family bond will strengthen or fall apart. (UPI)


Ben Savage and wife Tessa Angermeier are expecting their first child, sharing the news on Instagram. The actor, known for his role as Cory Matthews on Boy Meets World, announced the pregnancy with a caption “Arriving this fall” alongside ultrasound photos. The couple married in 2023 and has been together since 2018. (UPI)


Joey King will star in Practical Magic 2 alongside Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman, reportedly as the daughter of Bullock’s character. The sequel to the 1998 original is based on later installments in Alice Hoffman’s book series. Production is set to start in London later this summer, with a release date of Sept. 18, 2026. OnlyFans star Annie Knight was hospitalized after sleeping with 583 men in six hours, causing issues including bleeding. Knight shared her hospital journey on social media and linked it to her endometriosis condition.
